Sharon Loddey
I am a printmaker and painter based at a studio at Westholme,
Winston. I am currently working in mixed media; predominately oil paint,
beeswax, encaustic and collage. The paintings are to me an exploration of all
the things I love about printmaking, mark making, containment, layering of
materials and marks and an ability to change and move areas. I often create
series of paintings and like them to be viewed together and to see how they
converse and interact with each other as well as being able to stand alone.
